The Dropout Prevention and Reengagement Academy (DORA), led by PSESD’s Dropout Prevention and Reengagement Program (DOR), is open and accepting student applications.

DORA is part of the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction’s Open Doors Youth Reengagement system. Pursuant to WAC 392-700-035, youth are eligible for enrolling in the Open Doors [1418] youth reengagement program offered by PSESD if they meet the criteria listed here. The PSESD Reengagement program is committed to improving the quality, equity and efficiency of educational attainment and relational-centered case management services for disconnected, out-of-school, and justice-involved youth between the ages of 16 and 21.

PSESD DOR provides regular and career and technical education opportunities for eligible participants to achieve high school and college credentials, including work experiences within the PSESD region. Please contact Arthur Dennis, Director of DOR, for additional information supporting your efforts in referring potential youth to this great opportunity.
