We invite you to join us at the upcoming Pacific Northwest (PNW) Canvas Connect 2025, hosted by Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) 121 in partnership with Instructure. This free event will take place on Friday, March 7th, 2025 from 9:00am-3:00pm, at PSESD in Renton, WA. This in-person conference is dedicated to exploring educational technology integration and innovation focusing on bridging the Canvas experience in PK-12 education.

We are seeking proposals for sessions and workshops that cater to our audience of PK-12 Canvas users. These users are looking for insights, best practices, and opportunities to collaborate. We welcome proposals from both seasoned and new users, from PK-12 and higher education.

Cybersecurity Summer Summit in partnership with CityU Center for Cybersecurity Innovation.
Applications open for the following: 
  • July 8-11 | GenCyber - for 6th - 8th grade CTE teachers interested in teaching cyber security content, courses, and after-school cyber security oriented clubs. 
  • July 13-16 | Learning about Techniques and Tools for E-Security (LATTE) - for 6-8 grade teachers interested in teaching cybersecurity or starting a National Cyber League clubs and those who want to start a cyber competition club or add the cyber challenges to their curriculum. 
  • July 13-16 | Cybersecurity High School Innovations (CHI) - for grades 9-12 teachers interested in teaching cyber security courses.

Focus on Physical Computing:

Physical Computing Workshop in partnership with CSTA
Saturday, March 15th, 2025 | 9:30am-2:30pm PST | In-Person at Microsoft Campus (Redmond, WA)
 
Physical Computing is one of the most inclusive approaches to introducing computer science to all students, with tangible inputs/outputs and the ability to creatively tinker, it's a great approach for student engagement. Join us to learn more about physical computing with the micro:bit and Arduino-based boards.
