We develop partnerships aimed at providing each and every student with equitable access to educational opportunities throughout the Puget Sound region. PSESD is committed to whole child approaches focused on ensuring academic achievement in a safe and supportive learning environment ensuring  success for each child, eliminates the opportunity gap and helps eliminate racial inequities.

Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is striving to become an Antiracist Multicultural Organization. PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-postsecondary services in the state.

Educational Service Districts improve the quality, equity, and efficiency of educational programs through partnerships with K-12 education, early learning, higher education, and public and private organizations. We coordinate 100+ programs in King and Pierce counties, including Bainbridge Island and employ more than 400 staff members including administrators, educators and support personnel.
